In the summer you can raft, Kayak, bike, hike, and so much more! In winter you can ski, ride, snowshoe, snowboard, and Ice skate.Swimming and cave exploration are all year round activities. There are hotels and pools and lots of things. Also it has many rides, parks , and many lakes with views.
History
The curative value of the local hot springs and vapour caves were known to the Ute, Cheyenne, Comanche, and Arapaho indians. In 1882 Isaac Cooper laid out the town site, which he named after Glenwood, Iowa. Roaring Fork Campus-Spring Valley was founded in Glenwood Springs in 1965.
