A Message from Mrs. Fantaskey

Our Soaring Eagles Have Big Hearts!

Our students took the opportunity to share what they love about Doyle for our hallway display! Thank you to Mrs. Camburn for organizing all of the hearts, and to Mrs. Huezo and Mrs. Caramenico for putting up the display. Here are a few of the messages from the students:

I love how optimistic this school is, and I also love the positive messages each day!

I love playing gaga at recess and having fun!

I love the staff, teachers, and special things we do in school!

I love math at Doyle!

I love my teacher!

I love seeing my friends and playing with them!

I love Reading Olympics!

I love the students and staff. They are my Doyle family!

Thank you staff, students, & parents for making our school an awesome place for all!

Kind regards,

Mrs. Fantaskey

Counselor's Corner

Sparks Newsletter ~ February 2022

As part of the State mandate for career education, all Pennsylvania students are to receive information on the various pathways available to them to pursue their interests including post-secondary education, the world of work or the military. As one part of this we have developed a long-standing relationship with the local Career Technical Center, Middle Bucks Institute of Technology.

At the high school level, our students can spend half of their school day at MBIT in classrooms and program laboratories receiving specific training in areas such as horticulture or electronics. While in the middle school grades, students attend presentations about the many programs which can lead to visits or even shadowing a current student in programs such as commercial art or dental occupations. Summer school programs are also conducted in many areas of interest including Drone Discovery and Pastry Art.

Over the last few years, we have also shared information with our elementary students through in-person tours (when permitted) and most recently real-time virtual panels and visits given by the current MBIT students to our sixth-grade classes. These tours are scheduled again for this May.

Take a tour yourself and find out more about the many opportunities available to the Central Bucks students

Winter Weather Reminders

Outdoor Gear

As the winter weather has arrived, please be sure that the children have coats, hats, etc. for outdoor recess. We try to make sure the children get outside for fresh air and enjoy some physical activity throughout the winter months, based on the temperature and wind chill factors. In addition, please be sure to label your child's clothing and items brought to school. This will help us to eliminate an overcrowded lost and found area!

2-hour Delay - Modified Kindergarten Schedule

As a reminder, when Central Bucks School District operates on a 2-hour delayed schedule, the kindergarten program will operate according to a “modified” schedule.

This schedule would be as follows:

A Schools - DOYLE

  • AM Students 10:35AM – 12:20 PM
  • PM Students 1:30PM – 3:15 PM
