Priority Registration Advising
We will. We promise. How's right now for ya? Check it out folks, the Spring 2020 Honors Course Guide is UP. Now we will be making additions (FOR EXAMPLE, Intellectual Heritage professors - we'll let you know when they post) ALL the way up through registration and MAYBE even after. But that beautiful thing is up there now and you can enjoy it for all it's worth.

Employment & Professional Development
Volunteer with local kids
Philadelphia Parks & Recreation After School Program will operate Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM. In a structured environment, children will be given the opportunity to work on homework, participate in sports, games, visual and performing arts. Various enhanced activities will be offered throughout the school year.
The Recreation Specialty Instructors (RSIs) will be responsible to work with the Facility Supervisor to recruit children, plan the curriculum, take daily attendance and implement the program. They are directly responsible for the supervision of the children at all times. They must be present and assist during specialist instructors’ visits as well as any other special guest visitors to the program. They are responsible for completing a variety of ASP related paperwork and submitting that paperwork to the Facility Supervisor honoring ALL DEADLINES.

Thinking about saving the world? Swing by the Honors Lounge on Oct 10th to hear Honors Alumna, Maggie Andresen talk about her work documenting the lives and realities of those who have been marginalized, whether that be individuals born with albinism in Rwanda, child refugees in Palestine, or transgender people working to beat drug addiction in West Philadelphia.
At age 24, photojournalist Maggie already commands impressive credentials, published by both CNN and ABC World News, while also serving as a Princeton in Africa Fellow and winning an international award from the Thomson Reuters Foundation. Bring questions because Maggie is excited to talk to you!
