Weekly Update
Week 17 Recap
This week, my Monday and Tuesday classes K-5th grade completed our first ever cardio drumming unit! Classes discussed what the words "cardio" and "rhythm" mean when talking about being physically active. All students did a FANTASTIC job showing best effort and having fun with the dances we performed. My Wednesday kiddos 3rd-5th grade completed the Food Group Relay and Supermarket Sweep activities. We talked about how having a balanced meal is important to stay healthy, and that though we shouldn't eat our favorite snacks ALL the time, it doesn't mean we can never have them again! I am super proud of what I've seen from all of our Husky PACK and can't wait to see what 2023 holds for us!
Supporting Our Students
I know many of our students participate in activities outside of school, and I would love to support them in any way possible! If your student plays a sport, dances, does gymnastics, plays an instrument, or participates in any other out-of-school activity, please feel free to send along their performance/game schedule to haley.barnes@wbsd.org and I will do my absolute best to attend at least one!

It's always a GREAT day to be a Husky!
