Welcome Back Pumas!

We are so excited to welcome our new Pumas as well as our returning students to Postma! Lots of fun and exciting learning will be going on in the 2021-2022 school year! Our Administrative Team has planned many events we hope you are are able to attend such as "Games with your Guy" and "Daughter Date Night", just to name a few. Our awesome PTO has spent countless hours planning many activities for our Pumas as well! Our theme this year is GROW TO GLOW (the brighter the better)! We will focus on setting small, attainable goals with our students, and then celebrating when we reach those goals! We have a lot of learning, growing, and GLOWING to do this year!

A Note from our Principal

Your child’s safety is our top priority. CFISD and Postma have worked diligently to ensure that our campus has systems in place to support our Pumas and keep them as safe as possible. We learned last year that if we are diligent in our systems and committed to good hygiene, our children can learn safely at school. We are going to do our very best to keep everyone safe! Click on the link below to access the CFISD Lead Safely Plan 2021-2022.

Walkers & Bikers: Only students that live in Townelake on the Green directly behind Postma will be permitted to be a walker or a biker to school. Click here for a link to the permission slip to be a walker/biker. Please email this permission slip to Please contact Keri if you have any questions. You will be contacted to confirm your student’s eligibility to be a walker/biker.

Car Rider: As anticipated, we have more car riders this year than ever before! Thank you in advance for your patience. Our number one priority is student safety. Procedures are designed to ensure all are safe. This year, we are asking all parents (new and returning) to complete the car rider registration online. Every car rider should have a PURPLE car rider tag. If you don't have a PURPLE car rider tag, you will be asked to park and come in to sign your child out. We will not sign out students until the car rider line is complete. In order to access the link for car rider registration click here. We will send your new Car Rider Tag home with your child once registration is complete. Please be patient as we practice procedures and safety.

Cafeteria - ALL students will be provided breakfast and lunch each day for free, regardless of income status. Parents are asked to use the online option to deposit money in their child’s lunch account for additional lunch selections beyond the published lunch menu. Click here to access the online food services webpage to find breakfast and lunch menus and deposit money into your child’s lunch account.

Lunch/Breakfast Schedule:

  • Breakfast: Served daily from 8:15 - 8:40 am. Car riders that arrive at school after 8:40 will go directly to class. Bus riders that arrive on campus after 8:40 will be permitted to eat breakfast.
