PLA 48 Winter Break Update

PACERS FUNDRAISING INFORMATION WAS SENT HOME ON WEDNESDAY 12/14/2022!! PLEASE HELP US RAISE MONEY FOR OUR SCHOOL!! PLA 48'S SCHOOL NIGHT WILL BE WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY15TH AGAINST THE CHICAGO BULLS, BE SURE TO BUY YOUR TICKET TO COME OUT AND SUPPORT OUR SCHOOL!!

Dental Safari is coming back to PLA 48 on Tuesday January 17th!! Be sure to check your scholars bookbags if you would like your child to participate. or you may fill out the form online at http://www.dentalsafariforms.com

GRADES K-3 WILL BE IN RED POLOS ONLY WITH KHAKI & BLACK BOTTOMS

GRADES 4-5 WILL BE IN GRAY POLOS ONLY WITH KHAKI & BLACK BOTTOMS

GRADE 6 WILL BE IN BLACK OR WHITE POLOS ONLY WITH KHAKI & BLACK BOTTOMS

SHOES ARE TO BE CLOSED HEEL AND TOES… SANDALS, CROCS & FLIP FLOPS ARE NOT ALLOWED AT ANYTIME!!

JACKETS AND HOODIES ARE NOT ALLOWED DURING SCHOOL HOURS

SWEATERS AND LONG SLEEVE UNDERSHIRTS MUST BE SCHOOL COLORS (RED, BLACK, WHITE, GRAY).

ALL SCHOLARS MAY WEAR PHALEN BRANDED ATTIRE REGARDLESS OF COORDINATING GRADE LEVEL COLOR.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT OUR DEANS AND TEACHERS WILL BE REACHING OUT TO FAMILIES FOR SCHOLARS THAT ARE OUT OF COMPLIANCE

• December 15th-February 14th Pacers Fundraiser
• Winter Break December 17th, 2022 - January 3rd, 2023
• January 9th-January 31st Trash Bag Fundraiser (More information to come)
• Wednesday January 11th is a half day, scholars will dismiss at 1:00pm
• Friday January 13th is the last day of the grading Period
• Tuesday January 17th 2023 Dental Safari
• January 25th is Picture Retake Day
• Tuesday January 31st Hearing & Vision Screening
