Tuesday 24th Period 1 7:55- 9:20

Period 2 9:25- 10:50

Wednesday 25th Period 3 7:55- 9:20

Period 4 9:25 10:50

Thursday 26th Period 5 7:55- 9:20

Period 6 9:25- 10:50

Friday 27th Period 7 7:55- 9:20

Make up 9:25- 10:50

Senior Capstone presentations will be on 1/24 -1/26 in the afternoons.

January 27th - End of Semester

Breakfast will be served as normal.

Snacks will be available in the cafeteria from 9-10:30

At 10:30 - pizza, salad bar, and grab and go lunches will be available.

Bus Schedule:

Monday-Windsor only (HACTC inservice), regular dismissal for HS

Tuesday-Windsor only (HACTC inservice), 11am dismissal for HS

Wednesday- HACTC AM programming (no PM session), 11am dismissal ( they will have to wait for Tom for 10min)

Thursday-NO HACTC AM, PM HACTC will run, and 11am dismissal.

All HS students riding the bus @11am dismissal will get on Tom's bus.

Friday-AM and PM HACTC runs (Any senior that doesn't have a 7th period should plan to attend HACTC this day), Windsor dismissal 9:30am run and any HS stragglers will catch regular elementary run at the normal dismissal time.

Our Elementary team spent the 1st day after the holiday break with our greater SU Elementary team further diving into the next level of LiM work. Our team is now helping students and their classrooms set Wildly Important Goals or WIGS that they will track progress towards throughout the rest of the year. This work has already begun!

We are also anxiously awaiting the return of winter (think we might be there!) so we can finally kick off our ski program @ Ascutney Outdoors! Stay tuned!

A huge thank you to our families for coming to support our bi-weekly assemblies! These have been well attended showcases of all of the hard work our community engages in everyday!

Students are wrapping up their last days of the first semester. Everyone will have some changes in their second semester schedule with new Unified Arts classes, such as Art, PE,Tech Ed., World Language, Theater, Band and Chorus. Semester 2 begins Monday, Jan. 30th.

Some 8th Grade students have become hooked on new ways to enjoy vocabulary with crossword puzzles. We continue to help students find their passions during our 7th period classes. We are pleased to see the overall progress made from student's Fall to Winter Track My Progress assessments while moving closer and closer to our school academic goals.

Middle School Girls and Boys Basketball Schedules. Come out and cheer on these amazing student athletes. They are working hard on the courts and in the classrooms.

Science Fair:

The science fair is on Friday, January 27 beginning at 9:30 am and running until 11:30. A huge thank you to Catharine Engwall, Jeff Bachey, and Chris Rivet for all of their dedication to this event. We hope you are able to come see our students' hard work.

Our supervisory union is moving forward with our Leader In Me implementation plan. Leader In Me is a process that teaches 21st-century leadership and life skills to students and creates a culture of student empowerment based on the idea that every child can be a leader. We are looking for parent feedback on this leadership program and ask that you please take a few minutes to complete this Parent Survey We are happy to share that we reached our goal for staff and student surveys.

Windsor Southeast Supervisory Union is currently looking for substitute teachers to work at our Hartland, Weathersfield, and Mount Ascutney School Districts. Substitutes would be responsible for carrying out sub plans for students in grades PK-12 and communicating with the absent teacher any feedback from the day. Interested candidates should fill out an application and/or submit their resume to Teena Canfield, HR Director at teena.canfield@wsesu.net.
