Holiday Meal 12-12
We will be hosting a holiday meal at Stott, which is very similar to the Thanksgiving meal that was served in November. The meal will consist of turkey, mashed potatoes, and pumpkin pie. All are welcome to join. the cost is $3.25 for kids and $4.15 for adults. Please fill out the form below if you plan to attend.
Ms. Leslie would also like some volunteers to help serve or help with dishes. If you are available for that, there is also a link on the survey.
As of right now, this lunch will be served at regularly scheduled lunch times. If we find that many parents are planning to attend, we may revise schedules. As of now, times for lunch are as follows:
1st Grade 11:00
Kindergarten 11:10
2nd Grade 11:20
3rd Grade 11:30
4th Grade 12:00

Yankee Doodle Park - After School
Lately, we have had more and more students staying to play after school at Yankee Doodle Park. Please be advised that if you allow your child to stay and play, there is no supervision at the park. I have heard of and witnessed lots of inappropriate behavior (walking on the frozen pond, snowball fights, cussing, and rough-housing). We strongly encourage students to walk straight home and not stop to play.
December 20 - Winter Celebration
As we wrap up the semester with students at Stott, we would like to celebrate the start of winter and the end of a successful first semester. All students are invited to wear their pajamas to school on December 20 and bring their favorite stuffed animal or pillow. At the end of the day, teachers will use the magic of the smart board to put a fire on the fireplace and read aloud from books about winter. We'll provide a treat for students.
