Updates from Dr. Bray and Mr. Ajamian
This year, our staff has volunteered to serve on various School Improvement process (SIP) committees. Each committee will be sharing a brief presentation at an evening PTA meeting. We are excited about the Technology Committee sharing a brief presentation on October 3, 2019. Our Technology Committee will be sharing information information about the Parent Portal and accessing the Elementary School Gradebook. We hope to see you there!
We look forward to parents joining us on Monday, October 14th between 9:45 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. for our annual Open House. Please complete the registration form at the sign up link below by NOON FRIDAY OCTOBER 4TH to preregister for attending. You will need to bring photo identification to check in and match to your registration name. Names will be printed EXACTLY as they are entered. Thank you for your time and efforts. Thank You
Thank you to Lisa Najafi and Geeta DeSilva for serving as our Community Service reps on the PTA.
Thank you to Andi Hedberg, Aby Filomeno and Kathleen Tayman for planning our Back to School Picnic. The students always look forward to an exciting evening, and this year did not disappoint! Thank you to all of the parent volunteers who supported this event and made it a success. A fun time was had by all!
In the coming weeks of late October and early November, our grade level teams will be scheduling their full days of Collaborative Conversations. These team instructional planning work sessions are vital to empowering our teachers to develop lessons that are catered to the needs of individual students. We greatly appreciate our SLES Educational Foundation's generosity in making these sessions possible.
