School Makeup Day: June 14
There will be changes to the school calendar due to the January ice storm. McMinnville School District students will make up one of the two days school was closed. The last school day for students will now be Friday, June 14.
If we experience further inclement weather that results in school closures, additional make-up school days may be scheduled.
We appreciate your flexibility in adapting to these calendar changes so that our students do not lose more instructional time. The new calendar is posted on the district and school websites and can also be downloaded below.

Electric Buses Gliding into District
First Student, which provides transportation services to the district, has received a federal grant to buy the first electric buses in Oregon, including buses for the McMinnville, Amity and Dayton school districts.
This week, representatives from First Student and Congresswoman Andrea Salinas visited McMinnville, one of seven districts in Oregon that will be in the first wave of electric buses, to showcase one of the new vehicles.
First Student is working to install charging infrastructure and expects to roll out the new buses next year.
