How to stay safe!

~Put together a kit with a first aid kit and essential needs. (Such as water, food, blankets, flash light, etc.

~Get in your basement for protection. If your home does not have a basement, get in a closet or bathroom with no windows. Get as low as you can to the floor.

~After a tornado, stay inside until you know it's safe to go outside.

~If you are outside, go to a trench or low lying area of land and lie down flat in it. Make sure to protect your head!

~If you are in a mobile home or car, seek other shelter because these places are dangerous to be in and provide no safe shelter.
