Welcome Aboard!

Mary Rhett Davidson - Media Center Assistant

We share Mary Rhett with Millcreek Elementary. Mary Rhett alternates being at Sanders for two days and going to Millcreek for the next two days.

Zebulun Dinkins - Technology Educator

Zebulon will spend the first and third Tuesday of each month at Sanders. We will have Tech Tuesday the first Tuesday and he will plan and work in classes the third Tuesday of every month.

September is Library Card Sign-Up Month @RCPL!

Teachers employed by public or private schools are now eligible for teacher cards. Teachers can check out up to 60 items at one time. Teachers who work in Richland County and live in Richland County can get a teacher card for free. Teachers who work in Richland County but live outside the county can get a card for an annual fee of $10. Sign up today!

VLF Photography Contest

The district's first contest of the year is quickly approaching! The deadline for submitting entries is October 15, 2014. The award ceremony is scheduled for November 10, 2014.

Let's Get Digital!

A goal of Richland One and Sanders Middle is to promote and support digital learning environments to better engage students in their learning. I am here to assist you in this effort! We can collaborate and plan lessons together that will engage students and better utilize the technology that is currently available at Sanders.

South Carolina ETV Streamline and Learn360

South Carolina ETV Streamline made some changes and updates during the summer. Streamline combined with Learn 360 to create an amazing content delivery website with a wide range of K-12 multi-media educational resources. Learn 360 provides quizzes and lessons to accompany their video content.

Reading Rocks Goes Digital

Reading Rocks will take place at Sanders on Saturday, October 4th from 9:00am - 1:00pm. A few of the special guests include the following authors: Sharon Draper, Floyd Cooper and Sanford Greene. The emcee for Reading Rocks is Tony Jamison, radio personality form WFMV 95.3. There will also be reading and literacy activities, free books, vendors, games and school and community resources. Make plans to attend!
