The Castle of Good Hope
Built in seventeenth century Castle of Good Hope is one of oldest buildings in Cape Town. The locals call it ‘The Castles’. The building boasts of housing Military Paraphernalia, history of the castle and art collection among other things.
Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens
It is a lovely place to spot the flora of the region. One can stroll on numerous paths crisscrossing the garden. Some rare medicinal plants are also on display here.
The place was formerly used to keep prisoners during apartheid days. Nelson Mandela and the late Walter Sisulu were kept prisoner here.
The Memorial was made in the memory of Cecil John Rhodes. The memorial is a part of Table Park Mountain which is an outstanding picnic spot.

The city of Cape Town is replete with Museums and Galleries , Bo-Kaap Museum, District Six Museum, Groot Constantia and South African National Gallery to name a few.
