A Note from the Principal
Greetings, Flint Lake Families,
We'd like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to the wonderful parents and PTO members that have made Teacher Appreciation Week such a special time for all of our staff. This week, Flint Lake staff was showered with much love and kindness - it was overwhelming!
This special week was kicked off with a hearty breakfast, two SOUPer lunches were catered, popcorn and dessert bars were devoured, and there were many other special surprises throughout the week including various gifts donated by local businesses.
To the Flint Lake PTO -- Your kindness and thoughtfulness this week, and throughout the school year, has not gone unnoticed, and we are lucky to have such a wonderful group of parents that support our school.

Calling All Makers!
Do you enjoy creative thinking, learning how things work, or coming up with new ideas and/or inventions? If so, the Makers Faire is the place for you! Flint Lake STEAM Club will be hosting a Makers Faire on May 18th from 5:30-7:00PM.
A Makers Faire is an event in which creative thinkers come together to share their creations, inventions and ideas. Students are invited to create projects ranging from but not limited to arts, crafts, engineering, science, music, food, health, technology, etc. The possibilities are endless!
The theme for this year's Makers Faire is "Let's make the world an even better place." Projects could solve a world problem, fix a daily annoyance, beautify our world, bring joy to others or contribute to making the word better in any other way. The deadline to submit registration forms for a project is Thursday, May 12th.
If you have any questions regarding this event, please don't hesitate to call the school.
