Technology Reminder:
Remote Learner Agreement
During this unprecedented time Ozaukee High School is offering an additional
way for students to learn. This mode is called remote learning. Remote learning
is identical to traditional learning in content, workload and time commitment. The
only difference is students stay home. Below is a list of understandings a family
needs to understand to make remote learning a positive and productive
experience.
I, as the parent/guardian of a remote learner understand:
1. My child needs to have a quiet, distraction free learning
environment 7:30-2:45.
2. My child needs to follow the dress code of Ozaukee High
School when meeting on screen for class.
3. My child needs to demonstrate appropriate language while online.
4. My child needs to use his/her school issued chromebook and
google account appropriately at all times.
5. My child needs to log into the google meet on time and stay in the
meet for the duration of the class time.
6. My child needs to have his/her camera on during the duration of class,
but can turn their mic off when not speaking, unless the teacher allows.
7. My child needs to participate in class discussions, answer
questions and turn in assignments/assessments on time.
8. My child needs to check his/her email and respond to teachers in
a timely manner.
9. My child and I will immediately notify their teacher if technology fails.
10. I will support and encourage my child with their learning.
11. I will call my student in as absent for illnesses and appointments as
well as follow the Ozaukee High School Attendance Policy.
12. I will monitor my email/phone and respond to school staff in a
timely manner.

The Warriors were well represented, having 4 players named to the first team, 5 to the second team and 1 honorable mention player as voted on by our conferences’ coaches. These players worked extremely hard for this honor and are truly deserving of it. Please congratulate them for their effort and dedication to being great!

Sanitizing IT Equipment
Disinfecting your Technology is Never a Bad Idea!
Chromebooks and Laptops
Step 1: Power off the device. You will be applying liquid solutions to your device, so powering it off is a must.
Step 2: Remove any accessories or plug-ins such as cases, USBs, and headphones. Once removed, cases can be separately disinfected with sanitizing wipes or spray.
Step 3: Clean the screen using a lightly damp Clorox Disinfecting Wipe. Wipes should not leave a liquid on your hands before using. Heavy amounts of disinfecting solution can damage the screen.
Step 4: Use a 70 percent isopropyl alcohol wipe or Clorox Disinfecting Wipes to gently wipe the rest of your laptop or Chromebook, such as the display, keyboard, or other exterior surfaces.
Step 5: Wait for the alcohol solution to completely evaporate before turning your Chromebook back on.
