David Cary
David is the Director of the Lincoln/Lancaster County Planning Department and has been in this position for the past four years. He has over 24 years of professional experience in the planning field having worked multiple years in the Chicago area, 5 years for the City of Omaha, NE, and the past 15 years for Lincoln/Lancaster County as a Transportation Planner, Long Range Planning Manager, and now Director. David’s expertise includes transportation planning, land use planning, and long range planning. He earned his Master’s in Regional Planning from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst and has a BA from the University of Notre Dame.
