It is time to start preparing for end of the year summative evaluations! The link below provides sample artifacts for Domains 1 & 4. Please submit electronically or in a binder to the administrator assigned to your summative (shared in a Google Doc) as early as May 4th but no later than May 22nd.

Read Across America Week
Read Across America Week kicks off on Monday, March 2nd and continues the entire week! Please review the attached schedule below in the newsletter and promote it with your students and their families. It is important that 100 percent of students and staff are participating in the themed days. Lastly, the week is capped off with Family Reading Night on March 4th from 6:30 to 8:00 pm!
Fast and Furious STEM CHAMPS!
Congratulations to Folsom’s Fast and Furious team that won the STEM challenge sponsored by Camden County Technical School this past Saturday. The team was under the direction of Ms. Santilli and made up of 8th graders Perry Bascou, Michael Robinson, and Shayne Bowman.

Curriculum
Vicki Dugan, from the Literacy Consultants, will be onsite to work with middle school teachers on March 3rd. Our focus will begin on constructed responses and essay writing. Vicki will return the end of March for a follow up visit to give feedback and provide teachers with additional resources.
Family Reading Night/Book Fair
This year we will be holding our second annual Family Reading Night on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 during the week of our Book Fair. The time is 6:30 until approximately 8:15. Please encourage your students to come out with their families to this event.
