Message From Miss Melanie
Thank you to Miss Imogen and her fabulous team (Vida, Phoebe, Leah and Mel) for a great Colour Explosion Fun Run on Friday. The students had a fantastic day and we have raised lots of money towards our Senior Playground upgrade - the final amount will be published at a later date. Don't forget to register what prize you would like, if you raised $10 or more. Thank you also to Winun Ngari for cooking our lunch, DAHS, World Vision, Tony Garlett for being slimed, Police WA, St John Ambulance, and Prue and Johnno for donating our lunch.
Our sports carnival is to be held on Thursday 17th August. Lunch will be provided on the day for all the students. Families are encouraged to come along and cheer on the day. If you would like to volunteer to help on the day, please contact Mr Clinton so that he is able to give you a job.
We are looking for an ATA for Term 4, the position is 4 days per week. If you are interested in applying for this position please send an application to admin@hrsderby.wa.edu.au.
Please note that we have a Pupil Free Day this Friday 11th August.

The Sacrament of Confirmation will be held on Sunday 10th September at 9.00am in the Church. All families are welcome to attend this mass and join the candidates, families and Parish for morning tea in the Parish Centre afterwards.
If you would like your child to be baptised and participate in the Sacramental program and you are not Catholic, please give your name to Miss Jenna.
We have our Faction Athletics Carnival on
THURSDAY 17th August. Details of the events and activities will be provided in the coming weeks. All families are encouraged to attend on the day and support the students in their events. Lunch will be provided on the day for the students. Students will need to wear their faction colours and bring a water bottle, hat and recess on the day.
The inter-school Athletics Carnival will be held in Broome on Friday 8th September for those students who qualify for the team. Details will be sent out closer to the carnival to families of the students who will be part of our Holy Rosary Team.
The Colour Explosion Run 4 Fun was a great success and enjoyed by all. Check out the video on Facebook of our fun time.

Come explore the affordable books and products with your children. Plus, a portion of the sales benefits our school directly.

School Advisory Council
If you are interested in supporting the growth and direction of Holy Rosary School we would love to see you join our school Advisory Council. The Council meets once a term to discuss ways to support the school with programmes and future planning and works in partnership with the Principal and relevant members of Staff.
