Safety during the Drop off and Pick Up Of Students
Parents, we are noticing several drivers actively using their cell phones while in the school zone. For the safety of everyone, please refrain form using your devices in an active school zone.
Students are allowed to enter the building at 7:45 AM from the main door and bus entrance. Students who are dropped off and/or picked up at FHMS during regular school time are to use the front circle drive. To ensure the safety of your student, the parking lots are not to be used as a drop off/pick up area. All students need to be picked up by 4:30 to ensure their safety.
For safety concerns, we are noticing some drivers not being cautious when entering our school zones and are asking for your assistance. Students are crossing Staghorn Circle at all points rather than using the marked crosswalk at the entrance to the circle drive. Please ask your child to cross within the cross walk and to look both ways before crossing. We also ask that you stay alert to students at all times.
