STEAM Fair - Wednesday, April 26th
Next Wednesday, April 26th is our 3rd annual STEAM Fair at Hillside Middle School from 6-8PM. This truly promises to be the best one yet. The theme this year is "Dream It. Create It. Play It." We have 99 student designed games! Have you ever wanted to play a life-sized Angry Birds game? Or learn how you can beat the claw machine every time? Or play Plinko like on the Price is Right? Or code your own video game? Now is your opportunity!
We are encouraging ALL Northville elementary students and their parents to attend our evening event from 6-8PM at Hillside. As an added incentive, the building with the highest participation rate will win a MOD Pizza for EACH AND EVERY STUDENT AND STAFF MEMBER!

Habit #6: Synergize
What this means: Working together is better. The whole is greater than the sum of the parts.
“I get along well with other people and work well in groups.”
“I value the strengths of others and allow myself to learn from them.”
“I know that working together as a team we can get more done and come up with better solutions than we could alone.”
“I seek out other people’s ideas to solve problems.”
How can I do this in my life?
With your children, choose a problem you may have (like curfew or completing tasks). Use the Synergy Action Plan to summarize your child's solution and your solution: (1) define the problem, (2) share your views, (3) think of solutions, (4) choose the best solution together. See if you can reach a better solution (The High Way) than either of you could come up with alone.
