Goal of Game

To reach the end of the board game board and finish the homework by answering the questions correctly.

Setting Up the Game

To set up the board, lay out the game board in the center of the playing area. When setting up board, place the question and answer cards in the color assigned to them. Red Cards go in the red Space, Yellow cards go in the yellow space, orange cards go in the orange space, and green cards go in the green space. After all cards are placed in their correct spaces, place the Spinner in the center of the board.

Starting the Game

To start the game, each player must select a playing piece. Have the youngest player go first. Next, everyone place their playing piece on START. Move on only the white pieces. Everyone goes clockwise from the start. The object of the game is to make it to the end before anyone else, and answer the questions successfully. If you answer a question incorrectly, you must stay where you are. If the spinner lands on a color (ex. red), pick up a card of that color. Once you have answered the question, check the back. If you answer the question correct, you move forward however many spaces it says. You will be able to use a dictionary and notes to answer the questions. First person who can get to the finish space first wins. (Note: if your spin lands directly between two colors, either pick the color category you want out of the two, or spin again.)

If you win, you have finished your Language Arts homework! You got 100%! 2-6 players, Age: 10+ Rating: 4 out of 5 stars.
