Dear Davis Hill Community,

On this day, and everyday, thank you to all of our Veterans for your service. Our students had the opportunity to learn about the history of Veterans Day and thank Davis Hill Community Veterans on Friday morning. Thank you to Mr. Miner and Mr. Slipp for coordinating the assembly. Highly appreciated.

Have a great week everyone!

Jay C. Norton, Principal

Cold Weather/ Clothes Labeling

Please remember that we try to get the kids out for recess every day when the temperature is 20 degrees or above (We factor in wind chill and other safety precautions as well). This is true also if there is a slight drizzle/ mist. Please ensure that students are properly attired for the weather conditions.

In addition, we have a Lost and Found that fills up very quickly. We have a number of items that go unclaimed. Please make sure to label items whenever possible. This includes jackets/ sweatshirts/ water bottles/ lunch boxes/ hats/ gloves/ etc. Items that are labeled have a much greater percentage of being returned than those that are not.

Thank you!

Thank you to everyone who completed the Meet 'N Greet Survey earlier this year. I have attached a link to the results HERE. The information provided via the survey will be more thoroughly reviewed by our administrative team, staff and SIMCO in the late winter/ spring to support planning for next year.

The flyer below was sent home with students previously. Attaching to the update as a reminder for anyone who may be interested in supporting a class this year.
