Planning for an Absence? Please Review
GUIDELINES and EXPECTATIONS
Planned Absence:
Complete Skyward (CC LORI) and AESOP as soon as possible.
Short Notice Absence (i.e. sick the night before): Complete Skyward (CC LORI) and AESOP as soon as possible.
Late Notice Absence (6:00 am - 6:30 am):
Enter into Skyward (CC LORI) and AESOP (closes at 6:30 am).
Text LORI - between 6:00 am and 6:30 am

Identify yourself in the text
Provide reason for absence
Time out of the building - NOT class periods
For example, “All Day”, “7:30 am - 11:30 am”, etc.
If you already have a sub lined up: COMMUNICATE with LORI
Have the sub go into AESOP and pick up the spot. OR
Ask Lori to assign that person to the spot.
Change of Plans: If you were scheduled to be out for the day but your plans change for any reason (i.e. you had a sub scheduled but plans changed and you will be at school)
Text Lori as soon as you know.
Let Elaine know so she can correct Skyward
If you need to leave prior to 3:30 pm for
Personal reasons
Contact Lori and Kurt so proper procedures can be followed.
Athletic or activity events (i.e. FFA, track, softball...etc)
Contact Lori regarding coverage
If a sub is not found through AESOP (requiring internal coverage), stop in the office upon your return to sign the sub slip.
Staff is responsible for completing Skyward, AESOP, and communicating with Lori in a timely manner.

Alternative Compensation Information
Below you will find an outstanding list of opportunities to join others in the pursuit of continuous growth as educators.
Here are the 2019-2020 Alternative Compensation In-District Course Offerings. You can begin coursework immediately upon registering, or in the near future, and some started in August already...just take a look at the requirements of the varied courses. Contact me, or the instructor of a course, with any questions you may have. The options have not changed since it was completed and sent to all staff on June 7th, and other dates throughout the summer, but some courses may not be available anymore.
Registration ends Sept. 29, 2019, and all coursework is due May 25, 2020.

Steph Posta - You are amazing in how much you do for your virtual kids including the countless hours you have put in getting them on the path to graduation. It doesn't go unnoticed!
Travis Madigan - You made it through your first 9-11 testing day with flying colors! Thank you for helping me stay level headed through the hiccups!
All staff - Thank you for your flexibility, patience, and amazing communication during testing day. It started off rocky but finished strong! You are all amazing!
Tracy Klein and Travis Madigan - Thank you for all of your work getting testing set up!
Hali Tasler - Hali is on the ball with supporting our special education students and always looks for our input in helping each of our students.
Tom Martin - A HUGE shout out to Tom for his awesome Jeopardy games that are differentiated for individual students filled with humor and many learning opportunities. Also, thanks for sharing your delicious cookie recipe! You have us all hooked.

Virtual Teachers - Handling all of the system and staff changes this year like champs!
Steph Posta - Does SO much for our virtual kids! They are so lucky to have such a wonderful Principal!
Amy Hueg - Playing a very important role in keeping our virtual kids on track!
Chris Deno - The huge amount of scheduling work she is doing for our virtual kids!
Rachael Hanson - Has the Panther Perk up and running with great workers and great coffee choices! Looking forward to see this group soar!
Dani Wollberg - Thank you for all of your help with purchase orders and any questions I may have. It is truly appreciated!
Chris Buckel - Thank you for all of your help with homecoming and APUSH and making sure everything is taken care of

Amanda Arnold, Brianna Forrest, Gretchen Rozeboom, Cams Stansbury, Jenna Scheithauer, Travis Madigan, John Koehler, Jason Koele - Thank you SO MUCH for attending my IEP meeting. It was an amazing show of support for our student, and his guardians left the school with happy proud tears in their eyes. Your presence, encouragement, and positive vibes meant the world to them! Those that were not able to attend sent supportive and encouraging emails that we were able to share with the family. I am so proud this is what we do here!
