All Three School Celebration
We had an amazing day here at Goshen Center School and hosted the O'Celebration of Irish Heritage and Culture on March 17th. We were wowed first by the musical talents of Señora Ruiz and her three children. Next, members of the Scoil Rince FitzGerald Irish Dance School performed and then taught us an Irish dance. Afterward, students enjoyed a variety of Irish-themed activities with their friends from all three schools. The event culminated with the presentation of some very special gifts. Goshen presented Warren and Morris with a wooden plaque that represents our three elementary schools. Our elementary schools are three integral parts of the Region 6 puzzle, with love at the center. As Warren and Morris departed, members of Mrs. Martinelli's 5th-grade class gave each person an ocean-smoothed rock with a hand-painted inspirational message. Mrs. Martinelli personally selected each rock for this project from the beach in Cape Cod. Thank you to everyone for such a terrific day! A special thank you to Mr. Contadini, Sherri Contadini, and The Galinski family for making the three school gifts possible!
Best wishes,

6TH GRADE PARENTS - Message from Mrs. Spielman
Sixth Grade Parents
It has been an exciting three days for sixth graders this week. Wamogo was happy to host sixth graders from Warren Elementary on Monday, March 20th, Goshen Center School on Tuesday, March 21st, and James Morris School on Wednesday, March 22nd.
Students arrived at 9:30 and returned to their schools at 12:50 each day. Students had an opportunity to meet their 7th grade core teachers next year and sit in on a class. Students then attended lunch and returned to the Library Media Center for a presentation on middle school elective offerings. Students learned about the 5 electives offered which include Art: Visual Journey, Art: Drawing and Design, Tomorrow's Technology Today, Band and Chorus. In addition, students learned about the opportunity to take a world language in middle school, and the required courses that all 7th grade students take.
A course registration sheet was sent home with each student to complete. Forms should be submitted to their 6th grade teacher within the next week.
It was pleasure to work with students and Team 7 looks forward to working with them in the 17-18 school year.
All sixth graders in three schools will meet again on Wednesday, May 17th at Wamogo for another fun-filled and informational day.

BOX TOPS
Good Morning!
Please continue to clip Box Tops off your favorite products! Ten cents doesn't sound like much but they add up fast and help the PTO provide Enrichment opportunities for GCS students. If possible, ask other family members, co-workers and neighbors to collect them as well. This is a quick reminder that at the end of each month the classroom that has collected the most Box Topsgets a prize. See the below attachment for a list of products that have Box Tops on their labels.
A big thank you to our BTFE coordinators, Heike Robillard and Chrissy Steward.
Thank you!
