Name the Zoo Street Contest Westside is competing to name the street that leads to the Brevard Zoo! We have narrowed it down to 7 names and are having a competition to see which name we submit. Students can VOTE on their favorite name for the next 8 days by donating non-perishable food items. One item equals one vote! All food donated will be given to the local food pantry at the end of next week. What street name will Westside choose? Will the Brevard Zoo choose ours? More to come.... | Wednesday is Read Across America Day Help your child join in the fun on Wednesday, 3/2, as we celebrate Reading! Students are invited to dress as their favorite book or Dr. Seuss character. We will be doing a schoolwide "Drop Everything and Read" event, so send in one or more of their favorite books to enjoy! Trivia and other activities will occur throughout the day. If you are a registered BPS volunteer, reach out to your child's teacher to do a guest "read aloud" that day! | Academic Support Program (ASP) ASP continues this week on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 2:30-4:00pm for selected students. If your child is participating, please be sure to pick them up in the SIDE car loop with ID at 4:00p. |
