Protocols for While I am Gone
Baby to arrive the 1st week in October... at least 9 lbs!!
Materials from My Office
- Supply Closet - Sign out everything for inventory on the check-out sheets by the closet door. Remember, these items must be used for instructional purposes.
- Manipulatives and Books - Behind my desk, on the short 2-drawer filing cabinet, there is an old library card box. In this box there are cards with everyone's name. Please write whatever you take with the date. This applies to books for students, teacher resources, and all manipulatives.
Testing and Scantrons
- Scantrons for the 1st Six Weeks Week 6 Test will be in your box by the end of this week.
- Scantrons for the 2nd Six Weeks Week 3 Test (Math and Science) will be requested after next week's planning times
- Scantrons for the 2nd Six Weeks Week 6 Blind Testing have been requested, and will be delivered after the 3 Week Test to your box.
ALL SCANTRONS WILL BE TURNED IN TO MRS. JULIA IN THE COLORED SLEEVE WITH THE COVERSHEET. IF STUDENTS ARE ABSENT OR REQUIRE EXTENDED TIME, TURN IN THE BULK OF THEM TO BE RUN AND TURN IN THE STRAGGLERS TOGETHER WITHIN A COUPLE OF DAYS OF TESTING.
Please make sure all scantrons are turned the same direction, and there are none blank throughout the stack. This messes up scoring. Also, if you have students who have moved, but still getting a scantron... just throw it away.
- You will be responsible for running copies of your tests, other than the 12 week CheckPoint... those will be done for you. Please check to make sure you have access to needed tests through DMAC. Remember to download the test from DMAC to Word, and clean up the page breaks.
DRA2+ - Week 8&9
We will be testing all students with the Progress Monitor.
Reading teachers will need to test the students below grade level. Social Studies teachers need to test the on or above grade level students. Newcomers and SpEd. students will be tested by Mrs. Olalde and Mrs. Johnson.
In order to start, you will need: a copy of the PM reading selections, and the DRA2+ App.
DRA2+ Tutorials for Progress Monitoring and Assessment
After the MOY full testing you will add the Week 8 PM and Full Assessment data to DMAC. For now, please add your class' progress monitor information into the appropriate spreadsheet.
