1960's Civil Rights For American Indians
Native Americans Suffered many downfalls in the 1960's. There were people that stereotyped frequently and on top of that Native Americans also had the highest unemployment rate,lowest income. Eventually people were in bad health. They ended up poor, and having to relocate into different Indian reservations.
The Movement
Native Americans, began a movement to protect the Native American Rights."The Trail Of Broken Treaties" was to protest against the government for not giving the proper rights to Indian Nations. This movement also led a spiritual walk all the way down to Washington D.C to draw attention to the anti-Indian legislation.
