What is going on?
Great News...No more homework!!
Writing: We will be writing personal narratives or realistic fiction with a defined theme.
Grammar: We will be studying the use of abbreviations.
Reading: We will be continuing our drama unit. We will be having play practice and making props. We will all be ready for Hollywood by the end of the week.
Math: This week we will introduce the concept of division by discussing the connection of repeated subtraction. Students will model, create, and describe division situations in which sets of concrete objects are separated into equal groups.
Science: We will observe the life cycle of several different insects, recognizing that the baby grows up to look like the adult. We will also get to observe our own mealworms as they transition through the pupa stage, to the adult stage.
This and that...
I am needing two large bag of M and M's and a box of Cookie Crisp Cereal for next week. Can anyone help me out? Please reply and let me know. Thanks so much!
I have started to send home end of the year conference forms. Please sign and return one copy. I am still working on a few, but please keep a look out for them in their planners. The district is not giving us time for end of the year conferences. If you would like to discuss your student's progress. Please let me know soon. We will be able to work a time out to discuss in person or on the phone. If your student is not meeting end of the year expectations. I will be contacting you soon to set up a conference.
