The Board of Education provides a "Board Meeting Summary" after each Board meeting. The summary includes a brief description of the main topics and action items. These summaries are not meant to replace minutes. The minutes for each meeting are approved and posted after the next regularly scheduled meeting. We hope these summaries provide some basic information and context around the reports, presentations and action items. NOTE: In the interest of safety for Board and staff members, as well as the school community, the meeting format was adjusted. All Board and staff members participated remotely.

  • Recovery Plan
    Superintendent Kaczkowski shared a draft Recovery Plan document and talked through the possible scenarios. Much of the information will be filled in as the district receives direction from the Illinois State Board of Education and the Regional Office of Education.
  • Celebration Video
    8th grade students Drew Bennett, Ashlynn Kousgaard, Abigail Herbold and
    Maggie Fischer led a process to engage fellow 8th graders to create a thank you video to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week. Click here to see the video.

Board Policy Revisions | watch

Mrs. Buttimer summarized the policies that are being presented for consideration. Board members discussed how these could be implemented, if they are approved. Board members requested some edits. The policies will be revised and approved at the next Board meeting.
