Safe Routes to School Parent Survey
Poupard is working in partnership with the Safe Routes to School program. The Safe Routes program aims to create safe, convenient and fun opportunities for children to bicycle and walk to and from school which many of our students already do. The program has already conducted a walkthrough of routes our students regularly take to get to and from school. Our next step in the process is to gather parent feedback through a short survey which will later be used for writing our proposal. The survey should only take (5) minutes to complete. The Safe Routes Program is able to provide $200,000 in federal dollars for constructing these safe routes and takes about two years to complete.
Please take a moment to take the Safe Routes to School survey by clicking here. The link will be available until January 28th.
Thank you for your support in helping keep students in our community safe!

Notes from the Office
Tardy Reminder
We've seen the number of tardy students creeping up the last few weeks. We know its cold and hard to get out of a warm comfortable bed, but valuable learning minutes are lost and students are off their normal routine when they arrive late. Please consider setting your alarm clocks back an additional 15 minutes to give yourself and your learner time in the morning to arrive on time. Remember, school starts at 8:20 (Tue-Fri) and 9:05 on Mondays. Our breakfast program opens at 7:45 (Tue-Fri) and 8:30 on Mondays.
We all run late occasionally, so if your learner is tardy, please remember to sign them in at the office upon arrival.
Thank you for your help in getting your learner to school on time!
