St. Matthew School

September 2020 Newsletter

New adjustments!

We are in full swing and adjusting to all the new procedures put in place to keep us all safe and in operation. Our teachers have been instrumental in getting this school year up and running so smoothly. We are so blessed for their dedication and hard work.

Our students are settling right into their rooms, learning how to play socially-distanced, and keeping focused in their studies.

We know that there are many events and happenings around our community that are different or not allowed at this time, but we continue to feel blessed that our students are together again, and look forward to the day we can unite as an entire community of parents, parishioners, students, and staff.

The Cardinal Way

Cardinal Pride

Our Cardinal Pride wall is filling up with cards displaying all the Responsible, Respectful, and Safe things our students are doing. We are so proud of everyone for being such great disciples modeling Christ-like behavior for others.

Parent volunteers

Our parents are the BEST! During the week of September 14, our parents came to help supervise recess duty so our teachers could get a little extra break. Giving the teachers the gift of time, is a precious gift that we are so thankful for! We love you parents for helping us out!

Middle School Birthday Celebration

Every month middle schoolers have lunch brought in from Chick-fil-a (thanks to Deacon Tom Deall) to celebrate their birthday. They even get to enjoy a frozen treat, as well!
