With the marking period closing this week. I highly recommend that students talk to their teacher regarding assignments that may be incomplete.
We appreciate your support notifying our school nurse of any possible Covid positive test results and/or close contact. Kdreger@woodburysch.com Please continue to do so, in the event that your child is required to quarantine, he/she/they will be put in contact with a staff member to assist during this process.

Sports and Activities Updates
Boys Basketball: Jabron Solomon was named 5 boys basketball stars in the Colonial Conference, Jan. 10-16. The junior had 12 points against Paulsboro, while collecting back-to-back 18-point performances against West Deptford and Collingswood. Solomon is averaging a team-leading 18 points a game on the year.
Middle School Boys Basketball: The boys continue to get better every week and defeated a very good Haddon Twp team at the buzzer on Thursday. The boys will be having a double header against Clayton next Friday in the Cap Payne Gymnasium.
Girls Basketball: Girls Basketball improved to 10-2 overall and 5-0 in the Colonial Conference with wins over Delran and Camden this week. Players of the Week in the Colonial Conference JaNazha Clinton, Woodbury, Sr. Clinton averaged a double-double this week, averaging 13.5 points and 11 rebounds per game helping Woodbury in wins over Paulsboro & West Deptford.
NJ.com just wrote about the top stories in NJ Basketball: “Woodbury is about to get even better with the return of Nile Miller.” Alexis Davis has been as good as advertised for Woodbury since transferring from Glassboro, and Woodbury is about to get even better. Nile Miller is now cleared to play after transferring from Paul VI, giving the Thundering Herd another talented player to go along with Davis, JaNazha Clinton and Co. Woodbury should be considered the favorite in Group 1 because of the sheer talent and if the Thundering Herd stay healthy, a trip to the Tournament of Champions is not far-fetched.
Middle School Girls Basketball: The girls played extremely well but came up short against Haddon Township Thursday. The improvements on the court are evident and our girls continue to get better. The girls will be having a double header against Clayton next Friday in the Cap Payne Gymnasium.
Swimming: the Woodbury/Gateway “Wooters” defeated Camden Academy Charter on Wednesday. It was a total team win and numerous swimmers scored in the win.
Wrestling: Wrestling will be at Timber Creek this weekend and West Deptford Monday in a big Colonial Conference Meet.
Cheerleading: Winter Cheer has had the gym rocking this winter. Great job by all of the cheerleaders for making the gym loud with our spectator restrictions.
AV Club: Shout out to Mr. Doud and his students for providing a first class broadcast for our Middle School Basketball Games. We are one of the only schools to stream middle school games and this has been a great product for families who cannot attend and has helped with our spectator restrictions.
