Directions
Directions for creating an aura:
- You'll need to have a printed image (trigger image) before beginning. You may also want to have your video (overlay) recorded ahead of time.
- Open Aurasma app.
- Tap the white A.
- Click the icon in the lower right corner.
- Choose account or create the following:
- Username: HeritageExplorers Password: Heritage
- Create aura by clicking on +.
- Create the movie or choose one already recorded on your device.
- Tap device.
- Tap the + at the top.
- Tap photo album.
- Tap your video.
- Tap use.
- The name should be your first and last name.
- Tap finish.
- Tap on the video.
- Tap select.
- Create your trigger image using a picture, book cover, or other image with a well-defined edge. Often a black outline around the image will help.
- Drag squares to be the size you want for trigger image.
- Look at the red to green scale. Green is best.
- Tap the camera to attach that picture as your trigger image.
- The name should be your first and last name.
- Change to yes.
- Tap finish.
- Test it out by scanning your trigger image.
