Happy New Year 2013!

God's Blessings to You and Yours

I didn't want the year to start without sending you all my love and prayers for the coming year. Ingrid and Matt got my year off to a exciting start by giving birth to grandbaby #8, little Lucia Noel, on January 3rd. Sisters Avery and Nora are super excited to welcome another member to their beautiful family. Avery is in 2nd grade and loves to learn. Currently she is playing basketball and Matt is her coach. Her little sister Nora will be turning 5 this coming year. She is an artist and a dancer. Both girls are looking forward to helping their mom and dad with baby sister Lucia.

Jenny and Shane have two little boys that bring a smile to my face whenever they enter the room. Eirik is 2 1/2 and is always on the move. He loves any sport that involves balls: Baseball, basketball, football, golf, you name it- he loves it. Orry is the happiest little guy you will ever meet. He just seems to go with the flow- which is a wonderful trait in this busy household.

Onalisa and Curt stay busy with their medical practices and their daughter Anna. Anna is her own little person. She too will be turning 5 this year. She loves soccer, swimming, and animals. Spiderman and pirates are some of her favorite things- she always seems to be in charge when playing with her cousins.

Kirsten and Josh have two adorable little ones that melt my heart. John is three, loves dinosaurs, his cousins, and his little sister Abi. Abi just turned two and is all girl! She loves to play in her kitchen, dress like a princess and take care of her babies.

I am still an instructional coach and teaching Algebra to a great group of 8th graders in Spring Hill. I consider myself very lucky to enjoy my work as much as I do. Every day is usually a good one! In my spare time I enjoy yoga, watching KU basketball, and spending time with my grandkids. I am so blessed to be surrounded by my daughters and their families. Spending time with my grandchildren and watching them grow is truly a reward for getting older!
