Faithfulness

This month we are stressing Faithfulness in our chapels. Faithfulness is such an amazing character trait of God, especially in our world today.

"When we say God is faithful, we mean he can be trusted to do what he says he’s going to do. If God weren’t faithful, then that would mean he either lied or changed his mind, and we know that God is unchangeable, so he will not tell you one thing and then change his mind and do another.

Numbers 23:19 says, “God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a human being, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not make it happen?”

That means that God is faithful. You can trust him, so you can trust what he has says in his Word." -Thomas Nelson

So blessed to serve a God like this.

A Glimpse Into Our Strings Program

Big picture

We had a Great Watch D.O.G.S. Kick Off

On September 7 we had our ‘Donuts with Dad’ WATCH D.O.G.S. Kickoff Event at FMCS. We had a GREAT turnout at Colonial Chapel with FREE donuts and drinks. DADS watched a presentation about our WATCH D.O.G.S.® (Dads Of Great Students) Program. WATCH D.O.G.S.® is an innovative program being used by schools across America which helps them to be positively impacted by the committed involvement of fathers and father-figures in their student’s life. Many Dads selected a date or date(s) to spend at the school to be a positive male role model and provide an extra set of eyes and ears during the school year. If you missed the presentation, it is not too late to sign up for this amazing program. There are a few calendar dates still available. E-mail Mr. Winningham at twinningham@fmcs-fl.com for more information.

‘Dads, granddads, uncles, step-dads and adult brothers . . . this is your chance to have some special time with your student in a fun atmosphere at school.

Sincerely,

Ben Davis- WATCH D.O.G.S Parent Coordinator
