Come to Family STEAM Night!
Wednesday, March 25 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM in the MPR Room
Our Fun Night with Families is just around the corner!
Family STEAM Night is an Annual event open to all students and families. Students will be able to engage in robotics, catapults, cabbage testing, Lego city, felt board fun, recycling, marble run and community art to give you a sense of what's happening. The community art piece was conceived earlier in the fall. I asked Mr. McCord to design a structure with our students which will capture community thoughts and ideas of a caring and inclusive learning environment. Community members will be able to write words or a sentence on a strip of cloth and weave into the caging. Collectively we will create a community art project!
Tips on how to have a successful evening:
Plan to bring a light dinner and eat at the green tables with your kiddo
Encourage your student(s) to check out all of the stations
We want to avoid long wait time, by asking students to share the stations and move to a different station, if the area is crowded
