ADL Charger News
September 13, 2020
Dear ADL Students and Families,
We are so happy to have our ADL community back together in the building! There are many new protocols and procedures to learn and remember, but we have had a strong start because of everyone's commitment to our collective safety and well-being. Thank you for doing your part! We have a few reminders to help our learners be ready and prepared for this week:
- Please bring your Chromebook to school with you on your In-Person days fully charged. Also, please bring your new ADL Charger drawstring backpack and school supply pouch back with you on your in-person days (if you brought these items home).
- When you arrive at school in the morning, please go to your grade-level entrance and stay 6 feet apart from others. We have placed cones outside to help support social distancing upon arrival.
- Students in Remote Session of our Hybrid model should be sure to check their email every day for updates and assignments, and participate in virtual homerooms and remote check-ins with teachers as scheduled.
Upcoming:
- School photos are scheduled to take place at the end of September. Order packets will be sent home with students this week.
- Teams are setting up Virtual Open Houses for parents and guardians in the next few weeks. Be on the lookout for an invitation from your team.
And the Students Said...
We asked our students for feedback about their first day back at school. You can read what they had to say here. We have already made some adjustments in response to their feedback, and continue to refine procedures to make our new school situation the best it can be for all!
