Introduction
'Now, now, dear children,' he crooned. 'Just go ahead and sleep. Just relax and let go and sleep and sleep and sleep.' Far Far Away is about a boy named Jeremy Johnson Johnson. The story takes place in a small town called Never Better. He and his father live together in a building called the Two Book Book Store. It is called the Two Book Book Store because it is filled with only two books written by his grandfather. It is his autobiography. Jeremy's mother died not too long ago and his father has taken her death hard. He rarely goes outside anymore and he is unkept in his personal appearance. Since Jeremy's father hasn't a job, the bank will be take the building from them. along with Jeremy and his father, there is also coppery haired Ginger, Conk, the Swedish baker, Jacob, the fat and short Deputy, the sheriff, and Mrs. Applegarth. Jeremy is liked and well known by most of the people of Never Better and even does some yard work for them. Over time however, Jeremy is disliked more and more because of a prank he played on the baker with Ginger and her friends. The baker forgave the though and even had them working for him. During one of the times the baker had Jeremy and Ginger working for him, the baker took them to a small cabin out in the woods and it was here where the baker drugged the both of them, tied them in the back of his bakery van, and drove back into town.

The theme of this book is to never give up hope. Even when the baker kidnapped Jeremy and Ginger, Jeremy did not give up hope.

I enjoyed that the author included a ghost in the story. I like how it brings out the paranormal side of the book.
2. Which characters play important roles that relate to the overall theme?
Jeremy, Ginger, Jacob, and the baker all played important roles in the book. Jeremy did not give up hope even when the baker had tied Ginger and him in the back of the baker's van. With Ginger and Jacob telling him everything was going to be all right, he still didn't give up hope.
3. What was the author’s purpose for writing this book?
The authors purpose for writing this book was to entertain the readers.
4. Why would you recommend this book?
I would recommend this book because I enjoyed it very much. I liked the suspense, action, and ghosts in the book.
