THE PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
Our Bargaining Team is looking forward to hearing your thoughts on our proposals and the two-year calendar. If you have any strong opinions, they would love to hear them. You will receive a copy of the proposals list after the break. Your feedback regarding proposals will be taken into account as we vote on December 5th. The calendar vote will be scheduled once representatives have gathered feedback from unit members.
Several of the items proposed for negotiations can also be addressed through the LCAP. Keep an eye out for the LCAP survey, which will be released soon. If you are interested in the LCAP process, we invite you to join the ATA LCAP committee.
On another note, I'm happy to announce that we have some awesome new ATA t-shirts coming your way. The distribution of these shirts will begin on November 27th, so get ready to show off your ATA pride.
I want to thank all of you who stop me when I'm on-site or who email, phone, or write me. Your feedback and updates are appreciated and help me understand concerns better. If I don't get back to you within a day or so, please follow up with me.
Lastly, I hope you take some time to relax and enjoy the company of your loved ones this Thanksgiving.
Ralph Hernandez
