• Thursday, October 6th, Great Wolf Lodge at Rainier High School during lunch to discuss job opportunities.
• Wednesday, October 12th from 5:30-7:30pm, College & Career Fair at Yelm High School with almost 80 presenters that will include colleges, industry professionals, military representatives, job opportunities, community groups and more.
• Saturday, October 15th from 12-4, What's Next Expo in Seattle for careers for firefighters, paramedics, and EMTs. Flyer here
• Thursday, October 21st, Eastern Washington University at Rainier High School at 1:30 pm. Sign-up to attend in the Counseling Center or email Ms. Memmott. Eastern Washington University is part of the Guaranteed Admissions Program so – Any Seniors interested in applying during the visit, can obtain an on-the-spot acceptance letter. They will also talk about the University and provide any resources that they have for our students as well. A 2.75 GPA guarantees admission to EWU.

• Teens in Thurston (TnT) is a volunteer program at the Thurston Conservation District for local high school students. This group meets approximately once a month to participate in a variety of conservation and sustainability activities, learn from Conservation District staff and partners, and build community between students from a variety of backgrounds. snadell@thurstoncd.com
