Open Kura and Mihi Whakatau
Thursday, May 12, 2pm-4pm
Dear St James’ Whānau
Next Thursday, May 12, we are having an open kura from 2pm-4pm. At 2pm we will begin with a Mihi Whakatau to welcome you to our kura and Cathedral of the Holy Spirit Parish. This will take place in front of Learning Space 2 and 5 and then you are invited to come in and visit our beautiful learning spaces, have a cup of tea, partake from our sausage sizzle and meet your child/ren’s teacher(s).
We have missed you coming in during Term 1 and our staff are excited that we can now invite you back into our learning spaces and school grounds under orange traffic light settings. We do ask please that when indoors a mask is worn.
You will also enjoy walking around our school grounds and seeing some of the property updates undertaken during the holidays.
If the weather is wet we will have a postponement date of Friday May 13.
Term 2 Te Rangimarie Marae Visits
More information is coming home today with your child/ren along with the Parent Consent Form for our upcoming Marae visit to Te Rangimarie Marae. Please complete these and return to the classroom teacher no later than Monday 9 May. For learners absent you will receive your form when you return.
Blessings on your week
