Welcome Back!
We would like to welcome back all of our families to the 2018-2019 school year. There have been some changes made over the summer including replacing the News and Views with the Bluejay Bulletin! The Bluejay Bulletin will be sent out at the beginning of each month via email and will include upcoming events as well as what has been happening at school throughout the past month. We are excited to welcome Jeff Carlson as a new kindergarten teacher and Alysha Nelson who will be teaching second grade.

A Few Changes...
Elementary Building Expectation: All visitors must sign in and receive a visitor badge when entering the building. This is to help ensure the safety of our students.
As we begin a new school year, I would like to make you aware of a few changes in the building. We know that items get forgotten at home in the morning at times and are dropped off at school. If you are dropping anything off for your student, we ask that you please leave it in the office and we will be sure your student gets it. We also know that families may want to join their student for lunch from time to time. You may absolutely continue to do this but we ask that you are respectful of the time your student needs to be finished in the lunchroom to go outside for recess. In addition to signing, you must have permission to visit a classroom during the school day. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation and with these changes.
Pick up Procedure
If your student will be picked up after school, please be aware of the procedure we have for the parking lot. The only entrance for the parking lot is at the top of the parking lot (the west end). The opening on the east end of the parking lot is an exit ONLY. Vehicles should not be entering here at any time. We have designated staff in the parking lot to help students get in vehicles if you are coming through the pick up line. If you will be walking to pick up your student, please use the sidewalk along the old high school building or wait by the front of the pick up line and a staff member will let you know when it's safe to cross. Please do not cut between the line of vehicles waiting to pick up students. This is for everyone's safety. Thank you for your cooperation with this.
Busing Information
If your student rides the bus, you will be contacted by Monday about pick up and drop off times.
