Using Scratch in a Classroom
A creative learning community where projects can be shared.
What is Scratch?
Scratch is a website where students can program stories, games and animations and then have the opportunity to share them in an online community. Scratch uses simple coding instruction, similar to the games and activities on code.org. With Scratch, students can create their own video games, movies, mazes and much more. With all the talk about reaching students with technology and integrating skills in the classroom that will lead them to success in the 21st century, Scratch could be a useful tool in the classroom.
