WEEK ENDING IN 05/20/2022
Happy Friday Families!
It is so hard to believe that next week is our last week of the 21-22 school year! To say that this year has whizzed by would be an understatement.
Thank you to our incredible staff, PVO, and community members for all that you have done for our orca scholars. This year has been an obstacle course that we have maneuvered and came out stronger together. All of you have made Orlando Science aa school of excellence.
As with every year, next week, backpacks will not be permitted on campus.
We have a lot of fun planned for next week, I can’t wait to celebrate with you all!
Enjoy you weekend,
Ms. Greene

STEM Lab
The coding skills our students learn while playing with Wonder Dash and Dot Robots will help develop their critical thinking and technology skills. Younger coders learn with the smaller Dot robots and work up to Dash as they grow. These are used to teach all concepts and curriculum—from maps to math to music! We travel the globe, have "bot battles," and play instruments (some we even make).
We are so excited to journey into coding we can see come to life!

TESTING CORNER
Statewide testing is done for this school year. Students' scores will be released mid-Summer. All families will be emailed once available, and can come to campus to pick up the report. The FAST assessment will replace FSA next school year (2022-2023). More information about FAST will be shared with families in the fall.
Wishing you a wonderful summer! Please reach out to Cayce Carter (Cayce.Carter@Orlandoscience.org) with any questions. Thank you!
