Providence Hall families, this week we expressed our sincere gratitude for you. You chose us and you trust us to play a part in educating your child. That is the unique roll a charter school has; every one of our families chose to be here and without you there would be no Providence Hall.
Your work, of course, didn’t end when you enrolled your child. Every day we witness your efforts directly and indirectly to make our school a better place for your child and for hundreds of other children. All we can ask is that you continue to trust us and give us the needed feedback for us to continue and improve. May you all have the happiest of thanksgivings with your families.

We Appreciate Substitute Teachers!
If you've ever substitute taught, you know it's not an easy job. Each week we rely on our cadre of subs, and the past couple weeks with sickness going around, their time and efforts have been all the more appreciated.
From those who sub on occasion to Tony George who is here nearly every day, to our Coaching Aide Teresa and our TAs who sub in emergencies, we take our hat's off for our subs!

Nov 22 is DUCT TAPE TUESDAY!
For the duration of each and every lunch on Tuesday Mr. Fry and Mrs. LeGendre will be taped to the wall in the cafeteria. One girl and one boy from each grade level will be drawn to paint on them. It's going to get messy.

Hey Parents!
This past week we reviewed all of the different conflict resolution strategies.
1st-2nd - Students worked together in teams and competed against each other in Conflict Resolution Jeopardy! Each category was based off of a different strategy we have learned. Students had fun and did a great job remembering all of the ways we can resolve conflict.
3rd-5th - Students had to solve clues in order to escape a "pirate ship." The clues and puzzles could only be solved using strategies that we have learned about along with some good old fashioned teamwork. We all had fun reviewing different strategies and talking like pirates.
Though we are wrapping up our conflict resolution unit, we will still be consistently revisiting some of these strategies and encouraging students to utilize these skills and tools. They have done a great job!
