Let's Hear the Roar
Week of May 4th
Note from the LCHS Admin Team
Good Morning Lion Family,
We made it to May! What a spring semester. We are proud of our students and parents. We will be sending out information in the next couple of weeks on how to turn in textbooks, library books, etc.
This week is Teacher Appreciation Week. We appreciate all that our teachers have done to complete this semester. They basically had to plan an online classroom overnight! We are very lucky to have the staff we have for our students. If you get a chance, send an email sharing a message of appreciation.
Mr. Eaton is leaving the hospital! His recovery is amazing. We are so thankful for his recovery and dedication to get better. He has a long road ahead of him but we know we will start to hear and see more and more of him. It is a Great day to be a LION!
Are you ready to help celebrate the senior class? Lake Creek High School and Balfour will be conducting a drive through pick up for seniors to pick up their graduation cap & gowns on Friday, May 8th. We will also have a yard sign for each of our seniors to proudly display.
We would love for you to come join in by lining up along the outside of the navy parking lot (by the gym). Bring noise makers, posters, or just clap and wave as the seniors drive around the car rider line. This will be a special day for them and a wonderful way for us to help in the celebration.
If you plan on joining in, arrive between 3:30 and 3:45. Enter at the marquee entrance and park in the navy lot. Make sure to adhere to social distancing.
Please do not hesitate to contact anyone on the Counseling or Admin Team if there is anything we can do to help you or your student.
