Past Week...
Next year in 6th grade students will need to master the long division algorithm. So, we have been learning the steps and the process again. Many students used the division algorithm during the year while others used partial quotients to divide. During the summer, please have your student become fluent with multiplication and division facts which will help increase mastery of the divison algorithm.
Upcoming week...
Tomorrow and Friday students can bring their devices for math games.
I can not believe how quickly the year has flown by. I have really enjoyed your children this year! They are smart, kind, helpful, and funny. They are growing into great mathematicans and wonderful people.
I appreciate all of your support, gifts, and kindness through out the year. For the next few days, I will be out of town to visit family for a graduation and a wedding. I will return on Tuesday afternoon and will be here the last day of school. If I don't see you in the hallways, I wish you all a wonderful, safe summer. Many blessings are wished to you and yours always.
