Problem One: g(x) = 3x^2 – 14x – 5

a: (0, -5)

b: (5, 0) and (-1/3, 0)

c: (2.3334, -21.3334)

d: Increasing- (2.3334, infinity) decreasing- (-infinity, 2.3334)

e: Negative- X is greater than -1/3 but less than 5. Anywhere else is positive.

f: Even Symmetry

g: Domain- All real numbers

Range- (-21.3334, infinity)

Problem Two: g(x) = -2x^3 – 15x^2 + 36x

a: (0, 0)

b: (0,0), (-9.412, 0), (1.912, 0)

c: Local Minimum- (-6, -324) Local Maximum- (1, 19)

d: It's increasing between (-6, -324) and (1, 19). Anywhere else is decreasing.

e: Positive when it's between (0,0) and (1.912, 0) or when it's less than (-9.412, 0). Other than that, it is negative.

f: Odd symmetry

g: Domain- All real numbers
