One reason William Penn is important is because he had a really successful life. William Penn was born on October 14, 1644 in London. He was the son of Sir. William Penn. As a child he was really interested in free rel religion. William Penn was a English Quaker. William Penn decided to become a Quaker at the age of 22. William Penn had a very successful life but he also believed in free religion which is why he started Pennsylvania.

One reason why William Penn is important because he believed in free religion. He was a part of Quakers Who believed everyone even king should quake or tremble before God. He also thought that all problem should be solved peacefully. Quakers were treated badly because of their beliefs so William Penn and the other Quakers were sent to prison. Quakers were NOT welcome in Massachusetts. He dreamed that one day Quakers will have a place to follow. Their beliefs in peace. All in all William Penn believed in free religion.

After Pennsylvania
Many great things happened after Pennsylvania was founded. He started Pennsylvania in 1681. But in 1682 Penn and some of the first settlers went to the Delaware River to start what the called Philadelphia which means "city of brotherly love." In a few years people came to Pennsylvania. When some people came the moved farther North and West to start a farm. Penn bot more land from the king but still bot it from the Indians its rightful owner. As you can see a lot of great things happened after Pennsylvania was founded.

As you can see William Penn was A great little beater who helped found Pennsylvania. Now you know why William Penn wanted free religion in Pennsylvania. You also know that William pen accomplished a lot in his lifetime. Now you also know what happened after Pennsylvania was founded. As you can see William pen with a very interesting life.
