Feeding the Homeless in Ocho Rios, Jamaica

"If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth." 1 John 3:17-18

Beautiful Ocho Rios, Jaimaca

God is a good teacher and a constant source of the abundant life. This is evident in the beauty of this part of the world. The surrounding landscape is a reminder of the rich blessings of the Lord. There is a definite contrast to this landscape beside the Ocean where we stay and the makeshift mattresses under the bridge where our friends sleep and take refuge from the elements. However, God has taken great care to show us the same rich abundant life in both places. Friends, we cannot thank you enough for the compassion you have shown in your hearts to support this work both with your prayers and financial support.

An Angel of God

We are so proud to introduce you to God's servant, Marjorie, who is like Jesus in every way. She has full-time employment as the manager at Broadbent Optical and her other job as pastor at Street Church takes just as much of her time and even more of her heart. She leads the church in worship at the bus stop every Sunday. Marjorie is a compassionate minister who visits her parish during the week with food and counseling. She prays for them every day and gets their prescriptions when she can.
